What we collect on this website

When you fill the demo or waitlist form we collect your name, WhatsApp number, city, business type and anything you write in the message field. We also collect standard technical data such as your IP address, device type and the pages you visit, through analytics tools.

How we use it

To contact you on WhatsApp, phone or email about the demo you requested. To send you information about OWNIT services you asked about. To improve this website and our marketing. We do not sell personal data.

Data inside customer automations

When OWNIT runs a WhatsApp automation for a customer business, the business is the data fiduciary for its customers' data and OWNIT acts as a data processor on its instructions. We store chats, bookings and payment references on servers located in India (Mumbai region).

We use the official WhatsApp Business API from Meta. Message content passes through Meta's infrastructure under Meta's WhatsApp Business terms. Payments are processed by Razorpay; OWNIT never stores card or bank details.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel to understand how visitors use the site and to measure our own advertising. You can block these with your browser settings or an ad blocker; the site works without them. A language cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) remembers whether you chose English or Hindi.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers needed to run the service: Meta (WhatsApp Business API), Razorpay (payments), Vercel and Supabase (hosting and storage in India), Resend (email) and Google (analytics). Each is bound by its own privacy terms. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.

Retention

Website lead data is kept for 24 months from your last interaction, then deleted. Customer automation data is kept for the life of the customer's contract plus 90 days, unless the customer asks for earlier deletion.

Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by messaging us on WhatsApp or emailing the address below. We respond within 7 working days. Under the DPDP Act you may also nominate a person to exercise these rights on your behalf and may complain to the Data Protection Board of India if we do not resolve your request.
